Star Ratings for Vertex42 Templates

Calling all Vertex42 fans … I started experimenting with a new rating and review system on Vertex42.com in September, and it’s going well so far. However, there are still many templates that have not yet been reviewed. If you have used any of templates listed below, it would be incredibly awesome if you could go to those pages and add a review and rating.

Templates needing reviews:

Templates with the Most Ratings So Far:

Below is an example of the form for submitting the rating/review. I’m using the Gigya.com service, which lets you log in using a Facebook, Google, Yahoo, or other social account. If the world wasn’t full of spammers, I wouldn’t bother requiring anyone to log in at all.

Your feedback has the potential of helping thousands of other people. Though I don’t have time to respond to every comment on the Facebook page and in the blog, I do end up seeing your comments, and they often lead me to make improvements to the templates. Thank you for your help.

I would also be interested to know what you think of the rating and review system in general. If you’d like to comment on that below, please do.

I tried your weekly calendar excel template, and I must say I’m impressed. It is one of the few templates with a full length weekend, rather than two half block days. Two mildly disappointing issues with it though: First, I like my time in 24hr format. Second, I plan on using this calendar to schedule my non-work hours, so the 15 minute spread during the middle of the day would just be a waste. Perhaps on your next version, you can have a couple of radio buttons for 12/24 hr and 15/30 minute divisions. (Oh, and the last column is narrower than the others)

My husband and I recently decided to be more disciplined and prepared with what we eat. In looking online for a template, I came across your Weekly Meal planner on the EXCEL spreadsheet. I absolutely love the drop down options, and also the flexibility of being able to type in our own meals which may not have been choices. Thank you for making the time not only to create such organized and user friendly templates, but also to share them with others. I look forward to trying other templates on your site as well.

My husband used your travel expense sheet and were very very pleased. It contained all of the information that we needed to keep required records. We will use your site whenever the need arises and will recommend others to do so also.

I use the monthly calendar (for personal use) every month to keep track of schedules, apppointments, reminders, and messages for and to other family members. I love the fact that it contains the previous, current and future months. I have tried to find out how to “send it back” but do not understand that request. Please advise!
Thanks in advance,
Pat

Jon Wittwer January 2, 2012 at 5:51 pm

@Pat … I don’t see a reference to the phrase “send it back” so I don’t know what that means, either.

I really like the calendar spreadsheet. I find it fun to try to figure out the formulas! LOL. fat chance I’ll learn enough but enjoy the challenge. Question: the calendar I use has the full year and then tabs for each month. Is there a way so that when I enter a date and event or holiday on the main calendar that it automatically shows up on the appropriate monthly calendar? Right now I have to enter everything twice. The calendar I use is: © 2009 Vertex42 LLC..http://www.vertex42.com/calendars/.

Thanks!!!
