Excel News on Your Website - Using JavaScript

Of all the different free RSS-to-JavaScript techniques, I like FeedSweep the best (howdev.com). They have a great JavaScript generator that makes it extremely simple to add a newsfeed (or multiple feeds) to your site. They handle both Atom and RSS feeds and allow you a large number of options to modify the format. You can customize practically every aspect of the newsfeed (size, number of articles to list, colors, backgrounds, fonts, font sizes, etc.). They even have allow you to aggregate multiple feeds into one large one. This is great if you want to have a single news page on your site that includes posts from multiple weblogs in the Excel News Network!

The main problem with this method seems to be speed. Also, lately FeedSweep has been having some reliability problems (such as displaying the wrong feed for some reason).

Cost: Free

Listed below are two examples that I created using FeedSwap's JavaScript generator.

Atom XML Newsfeed URLs

The following list of XML newsfeeds can be used with FeedSweep. However, make sure that when you inclue the title link, that you choose the "Single Feed Homepage" option.
